It was said that on her way from China to visit her prince in Singapore, this beautiful maiden stopped by at Tioman Island to seek solace. She however, fell in love with the charm and beauty of this alluring island and decided to forsake her happiness by discontinuing her journey. Instead, she vowed to spend the rest of her days giving pleasures and comfort to weary travellers.
