The sea around Tioman
Island is indeed fortunate to have been endowed with
a vast marine treasure trove consisting of prolific coral
gardens, abundant seashells and limpets, thorny sea urchins,
colourful seaweeds and anemones, starfish and a myriad of
aquatic fish. The coral gardens around the island are declared
a Marine Park by the Government
and divers are reminded not to remove or destroy the fragile
marine life. The crystal clear waters off Tioman
Island make scuba diving and snorkelling an out of
this world experience.Other neighbouring islands recommended
for scuba diving and snorkelling are Chebeh,
Tulai, Rengis,
Sembilang, Seri
Buat and Gut.
